North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus routs South Rowan

January 20, 2023: Concord, NC 28027

In Friday's league outing, the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), by a count of 67-24.

The Trojans (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs go into the 3A Conference 48 outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, East Rowan smashed Concord (Concord, NC), 53-20, in a league outing.

The Raiders now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they host West Rowan for a 3A Conference 48 outing on Tuesday, January 24. South Rowan will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 79-26 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 15-0.
