The Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX) basketball nipped the host Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 48-43 in Friday's league test.

The Dragons (10-16) will now prepare for their test against Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Rabbits go into the 3A Region II District 14 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Atlanta was tipped by Hooks (Hooks, TX), 48-39, in a league test.

The Brahmas now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to De Kalb for a 3A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 24. Pewitt will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 37-29 league win over New Boston (New Boston, TX). The Bears record now stands at 11-11.
