Texas High School Basketball - Pilot Point ripped by Ponder

The Ponder Lions basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats to 15 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyd for a 3A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Ponder will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 54-50 league loss to Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-13.
The Bearcats (1-27) will now prepare for their contest against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Bearcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 20-9 record. In their last contest, Whitesboro triumphed over Paradise (Paradise, TX), 41-25, in a league contest.
