The Summerville Bears basketball team (Tuolumne, CA), was overwhelmed 50-19 in Friday's league battle with the host Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA)
The Wildcats now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amador for a Mother Lode League battle on Tuesday, January 24. Sonora will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 43-35 league loss to Argonaut (Jackson, CA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 8-12.
The Bears (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Redhawks come into the Mother Lode League battle with a 18-5 record. In their last battle, Calaveras trounced Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA), 41-29, in a league battle.
