The South Forsyth War Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the host West Forsyth Wolverines to 35 in the War Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The War Eagles now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forsyth Central for a AAAAAAA Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 24. South Forsyth will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-25 league loss to Milton (Milton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-15.

The Wolverines (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Sequoyah was defeated by River Ridge (Woodstock, GA), 69-61, in a league contest.
