With the victory, South River upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Concordia Prep (Towson, MD) to play the Saints in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Concordia Prep won 60-32 in their recent league challenge against St. Paul's Girls (Brooklandville, MD)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Southern will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Gophers come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 60-56 non-league loss to Mercy (Baltimore, MD).
