In Friday's league match, the host West Warriors basketball team scored a good 52-44 triumph over the South Spartans.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA) in a Pioneer match, on Monday, January 23. West will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-12 record after their 58-22 league loss to El Segundo (El Segundo, CA).
With the defeat, South moves to 13-11 on the year. The Spartans travel to North (Torrance, CA) to meet the Saxons in a Pioneer match on Monday, January 23. The Saxons enter the match with a record of 11-6.
