The Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs basketball team (Teachey, NC), was overwhelmed 72-23 in Friday's league battle with the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC)

The Stallions now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Lenoir for a 2A Conference 6 battle on Monday, January 23. Southwest Onslow will confront a Hawks team coming off a 46-38 league win over Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 9-7.

The Bulldogs (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Pender trounced West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 42-20, in a league battle.
