Texas High School Basketball - Temple Christian tipped by Weatherford Christian

The Weatherford Christian Lions basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Temple Christian Eagles to 42 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lubbock Christian for a TAPPS 3A District 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Weatherford Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-11 league win over Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-9.
The Eagles (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Midland, TX). The Chargers enter the TAPPS 3A District 1 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Trinity was nudged by Temple Christian (Fort Worth, TX), 40-22, in a league contest.
