The Albemarle Bulldogs routed the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls basketball team by a final score of 45-16 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 26. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record.
With the defeat, South Stanly moves to 1-2 on the year. The Rowdy rebel bulls host Salisbury (Salisbury, NC) to face the Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 7. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 3-5.
