North Carolina High School Basketball - Freedom ripped by Alexander Central

The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Freedom Patriots to 16 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Iredell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Alexander Central will battle a Vikings team coming off a 37-35 non-league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-5.
The Patriots (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
