The Spotsylvania Knights basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the visiting Courtland Cougars to 19 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chancellor for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Spotsylvania will battle a Chargers team coming off a 52-17 non-league win over Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 9-4.
The Cougars (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, James Monroe prevailed over King George (King George, VA), 33-27, in a non-league contest.
