Maine High School Basketball - Gorham tops Thornton Academy

Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 39-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gorham upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME) to play the Scots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Scots come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Trojans play the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Thornton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
