The South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 30-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record.
The Vikings now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Duplin for a test on Tuesday, January 24. Kinston will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 32-26 non-league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 11-1.
