Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) and the visiting Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA), saw Lakes's basketball squad hold off Spanaway Lake by a count of 53-48.
With the victory, Lakes upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA) to play the T-Birds in a challenge on Thursday, January 26. The T-Birds come into the challenge with a record of 0-5.
Next up, the Sentinels play the Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Spanaway Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
