Virginia High School Basketball - Staunton trounces Riverheads

The Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), 49-7 in Friday's non-league test.
The Storm (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Wilson Memorial walloped Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 47-35, in a non-league test.
The Gladiators now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Stuarts Draft for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Riverheads will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 45-18 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-3.
