Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), 33-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Warren County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Skyline (Front Royal, VA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 11-1.

Next up, the Dragons play the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. William Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 21-17 non-league loss to Meridian (Falls Church, VA).
