Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 4A Region 4 District 29 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Jones will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Jones (Beeville, TX).

The Coyotes now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Jones for a 4A Region 4 District 29 challenge on Tuesday, February 21.
