In Friday's league battle, the host Valley Christian Defenders soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Maranatha Minutemen.
The Defenders (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA). The Warriors come into the Olympic battle with a 2-10 record.
The Minutemen (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders come into the Olympic battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Village Christian was overwhelmed by Vasquez (Acton, CA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
