The Randolph-Henry Statesmen basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Amelia County Raiders to 21 in the Statesmen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Statesmen now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckingham for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Randolph-Henry will battle a Knights team coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.

The Raiders (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record.
