The Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) basketball knocked off the host Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 50-30 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers go into the test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Providence went down by Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC), 48-32, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Garinger will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 68-30 non-league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-1.
