The Sanderson Spartans basketball team (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 62-13 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC)
The Crusaders now possess a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carmel Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Cardinal Gibbons will meet a Cougars team coming off a 57-33 non-league win over Cary Academy (Cary, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 10-2.
The Spartans (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Athens Drive triumphed over Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 49-43, in a league contest.
