Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), 58-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cuthbertson upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Porter Ridge lost 47-23 in their recent non-league bout against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC)

Next up, the Panthers play the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
