Geneva Panthers (Geneva, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL), 32-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Geneva upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Rehobeth Rebels (Dothan, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Dale County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Malone (Malone, FL).
