The Mount Miguel Matadors basketball team (Spring Valley, CA), was overwhelmed 47-23 in Friday's league battle with the host El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA)
The Vaqueros now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Cajon Valley for a battle on Tuesday, January 24. El Capitan will confront a Braves team coming off a 54-34 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Braves record now stands at 1-7.
The Matadors (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against West Hills (Santee, CA). The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, West Hills was overwhelmed by Santana (Santee, CA), 38-37, in a league battle.
