In Friday's non-league outing, the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) basketball squad edged the host Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY), by a count of 57-55.
The Panthers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Avon (Avon, NY). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Avon was tipped by Le Roy (Le Roy, NY), 38-30, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Palmyra-Macedon for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3.
