The Grayson County Blue Devils basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Giles Spartans to 32 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Grayson County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 43-33 non-league win over George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-5.
The Spartans (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Eastern Montgomery prevailed over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA), 38-31, in a non-league contest.
