The Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC), 49-39 in Friday's league test.
The Red Wolves (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC). The Eagles go into the test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy went down by The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC), 34-16, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Christ Church Episcopal for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Veritas Christian Academy will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 53-27 league win over St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-3.
