Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA), 51-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Marshall upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Barristers host Wilson (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Mules in a bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Wilson lost 86-19 in their recent league bout against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Sotomayor will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 66-32 league win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA).
