The Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball nipped the host R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), 37-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (13-3) will now prepare for their test against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, East Forsyth was tipped by Davie (Mocksville, NC), 48-47, in a non-league test.
The Demons now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Parkland for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. R.J. Reynolds will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 60-42 non-league loss to West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-9.
