The West Caldwell Warriors basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Newton-Conover Red Devils to 42 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bunker Hill for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. West Caldwell will meet a Bears team coming off a 45-29 non-league win over Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 8-7.

The Red Devils (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Lincolnton was nudged by Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 45-29, in a non-league contest.
