The Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) basketball felled the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 59-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (10-7) will now prepare for their test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record.
The Wolverines now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Hendersonville for a test on Tuesday, January 24. Polk County will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 44-31 league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-11.
