The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) basketball nipped the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 46-44 in Friday's non-league test.
The Elks/Elkettes (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record.
The Tigers now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Moriarty for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Taos will encounter a Pintos squad coming off a 70-21 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 1-8.
