St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 41-22 in a league bout.
With the victory, St. Stephens upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Indians host North Iredell (Olin, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 24. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 8-6.
With the defeat, West Iredell moves to 3-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to Foard (Newton, NC) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 0-13.
