The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), saw Martin's soccer squad get by Juarez-Lincoln by a margin of 2-1.

The Tigers now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Palmview for a 5A Region 4 District 30 test on Tuesday, January 24. Martin will meet a Lobos squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Juarez-Lincoln drops to 4-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX) to meet the Wolves in a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 7-3. Laredo LBJ won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Vanguard Academy Beethoven (Edinburg, TX)
