Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN) and the visiting United South Central Rebels (Wells, MN), saw Alden-Conger's basketball squad knock off United South Central by a count of 61-48.

With the victory, Alden-Conger upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Knights host Cleveland (Cleveland, MN) to play the Clippers in a A Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Clippers come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Rebels play the Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars (Granada, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. United South Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
