The Eagles now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Will Rogers College for a 5A District 4 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Edison will confront a Ropers team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Memorial (Tulsa, OK). The Ropers record now stands at 6-10.
The Comets (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK). The Hornets come into the 5A District 3 battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Booker T. Washington edged Collinsville (Collinsville, OK), 64-54, in a non-league battle.
