Concordia Mustangs (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE), 54-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concordia upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Archbishop Bergan won 60-51 in their recent non-league bout against Scotus (Columbus, NE)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Bishop Neumann will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record.
