The Bucklin Red Aces basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Pawnee Heights Tigers to 40 in the Red Aces non-league victory on Saturday.

The Red Aces now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ingalls for a Southern Plains-Iroquois contest on Tuesday, January 30. Bucklin will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Minneola (Minneola, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.

The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, KS). The Blue Jays come into the Southern Plains-Iroquois contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Ashland was routed by Kiowa County (Greensburg, KS), 78-53, in a non-league contest.
