Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Canton Warriors (Canton, PA) and the visiting Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA), saw Canton's basketball squad hold off Williamson by a tally of 50-48.

With the victory, Canton improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Warriors host Athens (Athens, PA) to confront the Wildcats in a Northern Tier challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Athens won 71-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Vestal (Vestal, NY)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) in a Northern Tier challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Williamson will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
