Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs (Englewood, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ), 63-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dwight-Englewood upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 21. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Saddle River Day won 75-46 in their recent non-league bout against Sparta (Sparta, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Terries come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 66-41 non-league loss to St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ).
