Iowa High School Basketball - Dike-New Hartford holds off Union

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) and the visiting Union Knights (La Porte City, IA), saw Dike-New Hartford's basketball squad hold off Union by a tally of 67-66.
With the victory, Dike-New Hartford improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Hudson (Hudson, IA) to confront the Pirates in a North Iowa Cedar - East challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Hudson won 69-28 in their recent non-league challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars (Sumner, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Union will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
