The Smith Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Excel Christian Warriors to 27 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coleville for a 1A West contest on Tuesday, January 23. Smith Valley will battle a Wolves team coming off a 51-34 league loss to Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Wolves record now stands at 1-10.

The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against enCompass Academy (Reno, NV). The Explorers enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, enCompass Academy was routed by Excel Christian (Sparks, NV), 55-24, in a non-league contest.
