New Jersey High School Basketball - Gill St. Bernard's can't hold off Franklin

The Franklin Warriors basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Gill St. Bernard's Knights to 72 in the Warriors league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linden for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Franklin will battle a Tigers team coming off a 63-53 non-league win over Newark Collegiate Academy (Newark, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 12-4.
The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Phillipsburg nudged Easton Area (Easton, PA), 71-38, in a non-league contest.
