In Saturday's league outing, the Freeport Red Devils (Freeport, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oceanside Sailors (Oceanside, NY), by a count of 65-41.

The Red Devils (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Farmingdale (Farmingdale, NY). The Dalers go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Farmingdale smashed Academy Charter (Hempstead, NY), 62-44, in a league outing.

The Sailors now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hempstead for a Section 8 AA-1 outing on Saturday, February 3.
