The Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE), 39-31 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Sedgwick County notched a victory over Haxtun (Haxtun, CO), 48-46, in a league test.

The Blue Knights now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Garden County for a D2 District 10 test on Thursday, January 25.
