Kansas High School Basketball - Goddard knocked off by Kapaun Mt. Carmel

The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Goddard Lions to 52 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will meet a RedHawks team coming off a 55-43 non-league loss to Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS). The RedHawks record now stands at 0-9.
The Lions (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Maize South ran past Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS), 57-43, in a non-league contest.
