In Saturday's non-league outing, the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), by a margin of 51-47.
The Bulldogs (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons go into the A D1 Region 7 outing with a 7-9 record.
The Trojans now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to LaFayette for a AAA Region 6 outing on Tuesday, January 23. Gordon Lee will encounter a Ramblers squad coming off a 60-31 league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Ramblers record now stands at 13-3.
