In Saturday's non-league outing, the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), by a margin of 53-28.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Trojans go into the A D1 Region 4 outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, Lamar County smashed Furlow Charter School (Americus, GA), 86-32, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Gordon Central for a AA Region 7 outing on Tuesday, January 23. Haralson County will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-58 league loss to Murray County (Chatsworth, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-9.
