The Hopi Bruins basketball team scored 92 points and restricted the host St. Johns Redskins to 71 in the Bruins league victory on Saturday.
The Bruins now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Valley for a 2A North contest on Tuesday, January 23. Hopi will battle a Elks team coming off a 73-7 league win over Greyhills Academy (Tuba City, AZ). The Elks record now stands at 14-8.
The Redskins (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Sanders, AZ). The Pirates come into the 2A North contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Valley was routed by Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ), 57-54, in a league contest.
